Say hello to Lucy who has just joined ETS. Lucy has been an Occupational Therapist since 1996 and has had the opportunity to specialise in stroke and neurological rehabilitation for adults, as well developing skills in adult medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, care of the elderly and general rehabilitation.

Completing assessments of the person and environment, including physical, cognition and social aspects of their lives, her passion for rehabilitation has grown over the years. She undertakes holistic and client centred assessments, developing treatment strategies in line with the client’s goals to assist them in reaching their potential and gain independence.

Lucy has also run hand clinics, completing splinting for post-surgery repairs and releases and general arthritis care.

We are really looking forward to Lucy being part of the team. Not only does she bring amazing OT experience, Lucy has recently taken on her own challenge of learning the violin and has started playing in a Ceilidh Band; the ETS Team hope to put on their dancing shoes and learn some Ceilidh dances.
