Anna joined the Enable Therapy Service team in 2011 as an Associate Occupational Therapist undertaking Occupational Therapy, Immediate Needs, Worksite and Ergonomic Assessments. In 2013 Anna was recruited to the Head Office team as a clinical coordinator and provides case management services to our clients.
This fabulous Occupational Therapist qualified from Oxford School of Health in 1992 with BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy. She has 26 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist within the public and private sectors.
Anna has vast experience providing Occupational Therapy assessments to patients with diverse, complex and multiple pathological presentations, both in the acute and community setting. She is competent in undertaking functional assessments of daily living skills, vocational and leisure roles and assessing and treating patients with a variety of physical, psychological, cognitive, perceptual and social needs. Anna has clinical experience working with clients who have experienced hand and orthopaedic injuries.
Anna has a special interest in chronic pain and currently leads a multi-disciplinary chronic back pain management programme for the NHS. In addition, Anna provides consultancy to the private sector.
Her therapeutic style is approachable, encouraging, professional and facilitative to her clients and others with her aim always to optimise their rehabilitation potential.
Anna is State registered with The Health Professions Council, and is a member of the British
Association of Occupational Therapists.
