Kirsty has worked in Yorkshire within the NHS since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2002 and joined Enable Therapy Services in June 2012.
Kirsty holds the position of Learning & Development OT Lead and Senior O.T Case Manager, which involves undertaking rehabilitation assessments following injury and implementation of their recommendations.
As a senior Occupational Therapist, Kirsty is committed to providing a client centered approach at all stages of the rehabilitation process, working with clients to optimise their functional independence in all aspects of daily life.
As a senior clinician within the NHS, Kirsty specialised in working with clients with Musculoskeletal, Rheumatological and Pain conditions, and has a special interest in rheumatology conditions and Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).
Kirsty can undertake evidence based functional assessments of daily living skills which identify the client’s physical, cognitive, psychosocial, social and perceptual needs to identify rehabilitation goals, and utilises her organisational and communication skills to ensure clients are supported through their rehabilitation.
Kirsty is a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapy and the Health Care Professions Council and maintains her registration through continual professional development. In addition to this, Kirsty is a member of the Specialist Section for Rheumatology and Pain at the College of Occupational Therapy, and the British Health Professionals in Rheumatology.
