Lucy is qualified to Master’s level, Lucy graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1999, and has a wide breadth of clinical experience in statutory services and private practice. Lucy has extensive skills and knowledge to work with clients with complex care needs, orthopaedic injuries, mental health conditions, long-term and neurological conditions including brain injury.
In recent years, Lucy has worked as a clinical specialist occupational therapist and has qualified as a Functional Capacity Evaluator. Lucy is able to assess in the work environment, then deliver specialist vocational services, occupational therapy assessments and case management.
Lucy is also a highly regarded specialist visiting lecturer and external examiner at Sheffield Hallam University and has twice been invited as the Key Note Speaker at their Inter-professional Education Conference. She also assesses undergraduate medical students at The University of Liverpool. Lucy has appeared on BBC’s ‘Breakfast’ television to discuss innovative practice and has been interviewed on Radio 4’s ‘World at One’ regarding integrated working.
