Rachael qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1999 from the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. She worked within the NHS until 2010 across various clinical specialities, to include mental health and brain injury. Since this time, she has worked in the private sector gaining invaluable experience in the areas of occupational health, case management, continuing care and independent occupational therapy, formulating and implementing rehabilitation programmes for clients with a variety of complex needs.
She is experienced in working in a number of clinical domains to include catastrophic physical injuries, psychological disorders, acquired brain injury and long-term neurological conditions.
Rachael is qualified as a Functional Capacity Evaluator and has experience in carrying out a range of other vocationally based assessments, having considerable experience and a professional interest in this area.
Rachael joined Enable Therapy Services in 2013 as an Associate, carrying out Telephone Diagnostic Assessments for clients with a range of physical and psychological challenges and formulating recommendations from this. She now works as a case manager for Enable Therapy Services, supporting clients to reach their maximum rehabilitation potential with an enthusiastic and approachable manner.
Rachael is a member of the Health Professional Council as well as the British Association of Occupational therapists.
